Join us in our mission to honor and extend the legacy of Edna Lewis by considering how you might share your time, talent, and treasure with the foundation.

TIME

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Taste of Country Cooking, the Foundation invites communities across all 50 states to host their own celebrations of Miss Lewis's enduring influence on American cuisine to help raise funds for our programmatic efforts. From restaurant dinners to potlucks, farm gatherings to classrooms, the campaign is designed to be open, participatory, and deeply local.

TALENT

The Edna Lewis Foundation is governed by an operational Board of Directors whose hands-on commitment makes our impact possible. We're currently seeking new members with the following capabilities:

  • Finance

  • Fundraising

  • Grant Writing

TREASURE

We are grateful to our generous donor network, which helps make our scholarship program possible. The Foundation is on a mission to raise $100,000 to expand our scholarship program, hire staff, and host events that support our next generation of farmers, chefs, and storytellers.
